story so far
Keith & Dena Fanshawe
Our first dog together was a Border Terrier bitch called Cindy, Keith was brought up with Alsations (GSD's) and I Corgi’s.
We
were first introduced to our first Rottweiler around 1980, and was called
'Heidi'. She belonged to a friend’s girlfriend. Our family soon
became very fond of Heidi and the breed. We saw a couple of litters
come and go, always seeing them very small, never around eight weeks,
for we just could not afford one and anyway we had a Golden Retriever
which we dearly loved and were going to keep one of her puppies. (Of
course we never did.)
1984
In 1984 a litter was born to Heidi and we saw them a little older. This time there was no going back and we became the proud owners of 'Annja of Fair Dawn' out of (Fair Dawn of Harem (a Hunhaven bitch) By Borkums Bold Boris a trials champion).
Eastern
Counties Branch of the MRC
We joined the Eastern Counties branch of the Midland Rottweiler club
and we took Annja for socialization, and also for us to learn how to
become responsible owners of this lovely breed. A breed which we were
well aware had to be brought up properly.
At the club, she was show trained and became a shinning star winning,
puppy walk and puppy etc. We were encouraged to show.

1984 to 1994
Handled by Keith, she had a good show career and many will remember her getting her first reserve CC under Joan Blackmore out of Junior, incidentally to Ch Rottsann Regal Romance who took he first CC and BOB that day. By the end of her career she had won a CC and another reserve. She also represented E.C.R.C at the South Yorkshire Hound Super match and became the 'Contest Winner under the Dutch judge Mr G. Steffens. She was also the bitch representaive for ECRC at the first ECRC Dog of the Year Contest in ????
She only had three small litters but produced CC winner & Irish Ch “Rottessor’s Danny Boy at Tikaram”sired by Ch Karias Volcanic Eruption. Danny, had a very successful career and was Overall top dog Southern Ireland 1991, Overall top dog Northern Ireland 1992, Top male 91, 93

Vormunds Wicked Nick at Rottessor
Our second Rottie was Nikki, (Ch Rottsann Classic Crusader x Caprido Minstrel Daughter, Dolly Day Dream at Potterspride).
A Dog before his time in so much as he had a very strong, dry head, too strong for some then, but would not be today.
He had his share of success and gained his stud book number. One regret, we never gt around to using him ourselves.
1985 - 1993
Then came Sally

(CH Yorlanders Solid Gold x Irish CH Yorlanders Mona Lisa) who did lots of winning for us and was a CC & BOB winner. Mated to Ch Warrimead Black Guard (his only litter) produced another two CC winners, One was
'Ir Ch Rottessor’s Just Magic at Tikaram'
Jodie
(Just magic) also received to 2 RCC’s and was Top Bitch in Northern Ireland 1996, 1997. & 1998. Owned by Barri & Maud Orr (Tikaram Kennel)

Owned by Maud & Barri ORR. Campaigned by Barri to 20 Challenge Certificates-Group 2 Crufts 2000 after taking B.O.B. UK Top Dog 1999 & 2000
(Oliver) has many Championship BIS's to his credit including General Champ show BIS's and RBIS-Several-Groups wins and placings.
Was Irish Dog of the year contest winner at the ECRC Dog of the year contest for 1997 & 1999. Northern Ireland top dog 1998. Top dog North & South of Ireland.

Lennie
Lennie was a grandson of our foundation bitch, Annja. Basically he was a Tikaram bred dog despite the name. His sire Ir Ch ‘Rottessor's Danny Boy’ & dam Ir Ch Tikaram’s Reasons to Believe (Sally’s sister).
Lennie was lightly shown and gained one CC. He had 0-0 hips as a bonus. An injury cut his career short but what a lovely dog to live with and a superb temprement which as been passed onto his progeny.An excellent guard and self assured, assertive male. No way would he have ever let any uninvited guests in, but never needed to show aggression to people or other dogs to get that message accross.
